A friend stopped by last night to help me dust off the blog and scrape all the pollen off its windows. She's the BEST, I tell ya.' Today's Martha, if you know what I mean. And she's giving away a wedding dress. (I know! It floors me, too. And not just because at least half the days I want to set mine afire and stomp on it.)
Anyway.... It has been a little busy around here this spring. I am working on something for tomorrow, I promise. Right now, though, I have to go pick the watermelon seeds out of someone's breakfast so that they'll actually get some fruit into them. (Busy AND exciting, as you can see.)
In the meantime, don't forget to vote for my good friends Wendi, Kelcey and Jessica, so that their panel, DYING IS EASY, COMEDY IS HARD, gets chosen for the BlogHer '09 conference in Chicago this July. You do have to register to vote, but it doesn't commit you to anything - you're only voting to put them on the schedule. And I can't imagine a more fun thing to watch now that Gray's Anatomy stinks.
Anyway, you can get to the voting page by clicking here:
See you all tomorrow!

Gee, thanks, MadMad. The panel should be great--although, we're thinking of scrapping the storyline where I get a brain tumor. It just seems desperate, you know?
Wendi
Glad to see you're back. I was wondering if you'd gone truly mad and ended up in a little padded room :)
Off to vote for the panelists!
Seedless watermelon is the greatest boon to motherhood since disposable diapers.
When your friend is done, can she come over to MY blog?
PS: That wedding dress is a size four. She should also give away liposuction.
That Leslie...what a gal! Can't wait to see what you're cooking up. Maybe a weekend in Chicago is what we all need.....mmmmm....
I was starting to wonder about you, you know.
Off to vote!
GA does suck now doesn't it. I blame Melissa George. Those darn Aussies...
But of course I still watch it. The suckiness doesn't mean that McDreamy isn't still, you know, McDreamy. And Tyne Daly is his mum. Who knew!
oh, i was happy to see you were lit!!!
oh, not you silly.
your blog. :)
I've been spring cleaning my blog too, because it is more fun than spring cleaning my house. Oh, I would love to go to that Chicago event. It sounds fantastic! I'm off to vote.
