SorrySorrySorry!

Aw, thanks, guys! You're all very sweet.

But I am fine, not stuck in a snowbank, not inundated in some bizarre yarn avalanche, not suddenly swept into the real world workforce by an obviously desperate employer.

There is, I'll admit, a touch of the February going on, but mostly it's the February school vacation that's to blame. There were children around, and it requires most of my intellect and all of my energy to entertain and feed them keep them from burning down the house and I had little to spare for blogging between that and the standard tour of Boston kid museums perp walk.

So. That's all, really.

I'll be right back.

Watch a little TV or somethin'.

Oh, so all of those rumor of you running away with Mickey Rourke aren't true. Damn. I owe Hokgardner 10 bucks.

A bizarre yarn avalanche sure sounds like fun. I hope it's malabrigo.

I figured you were still alive and kicking. School vacation week sucks, doesn't it? God, I can't go ANYWHERE without running into all you people who are at a loss for a week and clog the place up. Yeesh.

Pay up WA!

What is February break? We don't have such an evil thing here.

Yarn avalanche - now that sounds sort of fun...

How can you be so funny when the rest of us are so desperate to shed our children that we're shoving them out of the door with ear infections and green noses?

Er, not that I've done that or anything.

Oh good, I was going to email you and ask you when you were going to post again. My workmate Sarah has been desperate for a new post from you.

Good to hear from you--glad to know you didn't throw in the blogging towel. :)

Do desperate desk-job employers go out and grab people who haven't even applied? Where do I have to hang out to meet them? And are yarn avalanches included as a job requirement or is that just a perk?
Glad to hear from you anyway.

We never got the Feb. vacations either. I think kids these days spend 2 weeks in school and the rest on vacation. "kids these days" I sound like my grandmother! Hang in there, it's almost March and we all know there are NO school holidays in March.

Well, now that I think about it, Real Housewives of NY is on tonight. That'll hold me...

A the yarn avalanche - there are certain cupboards in my house I am too scared to open because of that! One day you'll just go along and forget that it is bulging at the seams - open the door and BLAM! you're down and drowning in fibre.

Glad it hasn't happened - but some days that would be much more fun than looking after the kids!

I hate February vacation. We just HAD a vacation. In just a few weeks, we'll have another one. Enough with the vacations fer Chrissakes.
